Introducing CAPS Version 6 - A FREE Upgrade for current customers

We’re very excited to release this updated version of our CAPS software and we feel that the CAPS Version 6 update has a lot of enhancements that you’ll appreciate, making the billing process faster and your work life easier.  We've also updated our entire manual and all of the CAPS Training videos.  

Here's just a few of the new things included in CAPS Version 6:

  • Customizable cover sheets in a standard or invoice format.
  • Customizable continuation sheets in a standard, with quantities, or units format.
  • Add your company logo to the billing forms.
  • Printing defaults can be customized to be  "To" Owner, Subcontractor, GC, Project Manager, Contract Manager, Construction Manager, or an entity of your choice.
  • Printing defaults can be customized to be "From"  Contractor, Subcontractor, GC or something of your choice.
  • Printing defaults can be customized to be "With" Engineer, Architect, Project Manager, Contract Manager, Construction Manager, None,  or two other entities of your choice.
  • Options to omit the Distribution, Notary and/or Architect/Engineer signature blocks.
  • Customizable distribution blocks with names of your choice.
  • Billing forms can be opened directly to Excel when printing.

This is a FREE Upgrade for all current customers and will be the only version of CAPS that we will be selling from this point forward.  CAPS Version 5 will be discontinued and Version 6 will automatically convert all your data.

The conversion process is super simple as the Version 6 program does about 90% of the work for you.  However, if you plan on having your IT person or company do the conversion for you,   pdf download and print this document to give to them (1.16 MB) .

1/30/2025 - UPDATE if you are moving to a new computer all you need is a backup of your CAPS Version 5 data to restore when you install Version 6.
