Minnesota's prevailing wage/certified payroll reporting requirements usually follow the requirements established by the U.S. Department of Labor and file the Federal WH-347 certified payroll form, EXCEPT when you perform work on Minnesota Department of Transportation projects. Minnesota DOT has teamed up with AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) and now requires that you submit your Certified Payroll Reports electronically, utilizing the Trns•port® system.
You will be able to choose which forms to generate on a job-by-job basis:
Additionally, the Minnesota DOT also has it's own special EEOC Report, which must be submitted on a monthly basis (we have not heard about any changes to this requirement) and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights Compliance Services Unit - Monthly Utilization Report are also included - see EEOC Workforce Reporting.
NOTE: Historically, the Federal WH-347 is revised every three (3) years.
This page provides you with both a quick 10-minute Audio/Video overview of how Certified Payroll Solution will interface with and use your existing QuickBooks data to produce the final reports and a comprehensive self-paced .pdf training demo which walks you through the complete setup.
